Jewellery available in Solid Gold in 18, 14 and 9 carat, Sterling Silver, Gold Plated, Gold Plated Sterling Silver and Nickel Plated.  Not all items are available in all metals.

Opal types available are Solid Opal, Solid Opal Inlay, Triplet Opal and Opal Chips. Not all item are available in all opal styles and types.  All inlay opal jewellery is blue green opal.

Solid Opal Ring
SOLID OPAL		 Solid cut opal mounted in an 18 carat solid gold ring. Solid cut opal is exactly as the name suggests. The stone is cut from a solid piece of rough opal. Nothing is added to it.

INLAY OPAL
 Inlay opal in 18 carat solid gold ring. This type of cut is very specific to the jewellery and is imbedded then finished flush with the metal.

OPAL TRIPLET
 Triplet opal mounted on a sterling silver pendant. A Triplet is made by sandwiching a slither of opal between a domed quartz lens and a black base. This enhances the colour of the opal.

OPAL CHIPS
 Opal chip boomerang clip. This type of decorative opal piece is usually made by imbedding uncut opal chips into a black base then covering it with a clear resin.

The types of opal preparations described above are used in different circumstances to enhance the beauty and value of the  piece being prepared.  Not all  types of opal cuts are available in all jewellery pieces.  Just as it would not be appropriate to put uncut opal chips onto a 18 carat solid gold ring, it would also not suit to place a solid cut gem onto a nickel plated paper clip.

Opal comes in a variety of brilliant colours.  Some images may show more green or orange or red or blue or yellow but no two pieces are the same, so images shown should be considered indicative only, although pieces will be of equivalent quality as shown.

We give a full one year guarantee that products purchased from this site will be defect free. This includes the opal, it's mount and all workmanship. If a defect is detected, you should contact us to arrange a return for replacement.
